A Cypriot girl carries precious cargo as she runs across a ribbon.

The story takes on a physical form, and a storyteller’s hands become the stage for a fabric recreation of celluloid film.

This lyrical version of the illusion of ‘the moving image’, was influenced by the tableaux of artist Adamantios Diamantis, and inspired by Cypriot folklore. Whether the girl is carrying her ego, her trust or the idea she has of herself, it is only when the cargo is broken, that its value is realised.
